Boyce Levi Simons

Boyce Levi Simons passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024 in the loving arms of his wife of 65 years, Deann Simons. He was born to Alden and Fontella Simons on January 3, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. He moved to Springville when he was in high school where he met his beloved and raised five children; Karen (James) Rawlinson, Wendy (Brett) Kelley, Tammy Farnworth, Tana (Mike) Worman, and Brett Simons.

He was a man of many trades, including painting, welding, and working on all vehicles, while helping others do the same.

He served proudly in the U.S. Army, spending two years in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1959. He loved his trucks, church, country, fishing, but mostly his wife and family.

Boyce was preceded in death by 10 siblings, his parents, son Brett, and grandson Kurt Banks.

He leaves behind his wife, daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held to honor Boyce’s life on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Spring Creek Mortuary, 737 N. Main. Military honors will follow.
