Memorial Square Ribbon Cutting in Spanish Fork

r

Friday May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Spanish Fork City will officially re-open Memorial Square.  Memorial Square, built in 1988 in downtown Spanish Fork, was originally a memorial to Joseph and Delila G. Hughes, the founders of the Hughes Memorial Hospital.  However, it quickly became a place for all citizens to honor and recognize friends and family members.

r

Spanish Fork City has recently completed a project to update and renovate Memorial Square. While still maintaining the integrity of the memorial, Spanish Fork City has added benches, tables, and trees in order to make the space more inviting for citizens to come reflect and honor their loved ones.

r

As the project is now complete, Memorial Square is ready to reopen.  Spanish Fork City invites everyone to join them at the ribbon cutting program this upcoming Friday as they reveal the new updated space.
